Lewiston welcomes new finance director

Tracy Roy, ideal, usually takes the oath of business office for Lewiston finance director June 2 from Metropolis Clerk Kathy Montejo.
LEWISTON — Tracy Roy was sworn in June 2 as Lewiston finance director.
Roy most lately served as finance director and treasurer for Augusta considering the fact that Oct 2020. Before that she was Augusta’s deputy finance director, treasurer and tax collector from 2013-20 York’s finance director from 2011-13 Auburn’s finance director from 2009-11 South Portland ‘s controller from 2003-09 and an accountant for South Portland from 2001-03.
“Tracy has a prosperity of municipal finance knowledge, like her new post at the town of Augusta. She is a Lewiston native and returning property,” Lewiston City Administrator Heather Hunter claimed.
“We are happy to have Tracy on board, and I’m fired up for the town of Lewiston,” Mayor Carl L. Sheline mentioned.
Roy has a Bachelor of Science degree in enterprise accounting from the College of Maine of Augusta, is a board member of the Maine Governing administration Finance Officers Affiliation, and has ongoing her professional teaching by the Kennebec Leadership Institute and the Authorities Finance Officers Association.
“I am excited to commence this new obstacle and to be doing work with the Lewiston team,” Roy mentioned.
